New York.
His interest
in art started in his late twenties
when a neighbor asked him to draw a
picture for her school assignment.
After attending an evening adult
education course in painting he
decided to study at the Art Students
League and the Frank Reilly Studio

He studied with Jean Dunne, an
accomplished miniature artist, who
has won numerous awards.
An avid portrait artist, he
attends 3 drawing sessions per week.

relaxes at home with his drawing
journals, many of which are filled
to overflowing with portraits and
portrait gestures.

paintings that have been purchased
were commissioned works.
